This flavored loose leaf black tea is a fruity blend of China Congou black tea and natural essence of pure blackcurrants. Blackcurrant is, after Earl Grey, the most popular flavored black tea in North America and Europe. This is terrific anytime you want a caffeinated tea. Our black currant is great with milk and sugar, but the sweet berry flavor comes through best when drank black or slightly sweetened.
Brewing Tips: Blackcurrant tea should be made with water brought to a rolling boil (205-212° F). Using one teaspoon of loose leaf tea for each cup.
This tea should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Remove the leaves once the brewing time is reached
Decant and enjoy!
