The tropical island nation of Indonesia has been harvesting and exporting tea since the early 17th century, when Dutch traders began colonizing the region. Our Indonesian tea is an exquisite blend sourced from Indonesia's Kertasarie Estate. This is a favorite of those who love a strong and stimulating flavor in their cup. Indonesia's high altitudes, volcanic soil and tropical climate produce a dark and rich tasting tea that is truly unique.
Ingredients: Black tea.
Brewing Tips: Our Indonesian black tea should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a rolling boil (205-212° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose tea or one teabag for each cup required, pour the boiling water over the tea leaves.
Indonesian loose leaf tea should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping.
Decant and enjoy!
