Amsterdam Licorice Black Tea
This Amsterdam Licorice loose leaf black tea brings memories of home with a sweet and light Anise that complements each other. A Delicious exotic aniseed finish. Licorice derived from the roots of ancient Greece, China, and Egypt is believed to be an effective cough syrup and tonic. King Tutankhamun was buried with a supply of the root to sustain him in the afterworld. How many roots can make that claim?
For most people in the modern world, however, licorice is simply a delicious confection that hints of sweet anise. Luckily, for us, and for you, it also compliments this high-grown Ceylon beautifully.
Brewing Tips: Amsterdam Licorice Black Tea should be made with water brought to a rolling boil (205-212° F). Using one teaspoon of loose leaf tea for each cup.
This Amsterdam Licorice loose leaf tea should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Remove the leaves once the brewing time is reached.
Decant and Enjoy!
