Young Hyson is a wonderful green tea used as the base of many of our most popular green tea blends.  If you enjoy a simple tea drinking experience we think you’ll enjoy a cup of Young Hyson. It features a darker note that other green teas don’t have.  Plus a hint of wood smoke, like a campfire in the distance.  Young Hyson is best enjoyed neat and brewed a few times.  Each follow on brew, add 30 seconds to the brewing time and enjoy the evolution of this green tea.

Ingredients: Young Hyson Green Tea

Brewing Tips: Young Hyson Green tea should be made with water brought to 150 to 160° F. Using one teaspoon of loose leaf tea for each cup.

This tea should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Remove the leaves once the brewing time is reached

Decant and enjoy!
