Matcha is powdered Green Tea. The leaves are hand-picked and ground with a granite stone mill to a smooth, delicate powder to which you simply add water, hot or cold. It is recognized for a vivid green color and creamy, savory taste, which blend together in perfect harmony. When you drink it, you are actually ingesting the entire tea leaves, rather than just the constituents that come off at boiling point. This provides you significantly more antioxidants and other beneficial components, such as fat-burning and cancer-fighting abilities. Drinking one cup of Matcha has the nutritional value of drinking ten cups of Green Tea.

Brewing Tips: Great hot or served over ice, we recommend using 1/2 teaspoon for every 6 fl. oz of water. Whisk with a shaker cup, bamboo whisk or even a fork and enjoy! Ratios may be adjusted to your taste.

Matcha Latte - Mix 1 tsp of Matcha with 1/4 cup hot (not boiling) water and let sit for 1-2 minutes. Slowly add 6-8 oz of warmed / frothed milk and whisk gently to combine. Sweeten to taste and enjoy!
