Hibiscus Flower Herbal Tea
Edible Hibiscus Flowers are characteristic of their deep red liquor and tart, cranberry-like flavor. These flowers are often added to herbal tea blends for a sharp punch. Hibiscus is also known for its mild benefits of high Vitamin C and minerals, as well as helping reduce high blood pressure.
Ingredients: Hibiscus, Rose hips, Blue mallow blossoms with Lychee and Goji berry flavors.
Brewing Tips: Hibiscus Flower Herbal Tea should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a rolling boil (205-212° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose leaf tea for each cup.
This loose leaf tea is an herbal tisane and should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping.
