Genmaicha, a Japanese specialty, means "brown rice tea." Green tea is blended with roasted, partially puffed rice giving it a toasty flavor. When brewed, it yields a unique cup in comparison to other Japanese teas. The quality of Genmaicha varies widely depending on the base tea used. While most Genmaicha sold in this country is based on larger leaf Bancha, this specific grade consists of a blend of Sencha and fine Bancha making it very fragrant and aromatic. Genmaicha is known to enhance the flavor of fine food and to cleanse the palate. Best served hot to reflect a satisfying cup of soup or a warm hug.

IngredientsJapanese Sencha green tea, roasted rice and popped corn

Brewing Tips: Genmaicha tea should be made with water brought to 150 to 160° F. Using one teaspoon of loose leaf tea for each cup.

This tea should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Remove the leaves once the brewing time is reached

Decant and enjoy!

Born from the idea that tea nourishes both body and spirit, we curate premium loose leaf teas sourced globally, inspiring mindful moments and unlocking nature's hidden health perks.

Why loose leaf over bags? Tea bags often hide dusty remnants that brew bitter and bland. Loose leaves, however, deliver full-bodied aromas, intense tastes, and peak levels of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals—ditching the microplastics and additives for pure, superior steeps that truly uplift your health.
